Cutting edge research conducted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University showed that myopia progression can be managed by providing clear vision and constant myopic defocus simultaneously. Based on a two-year clinical trial results, MiYOSMART is proven to curb myopia progression in children on average by 60% compared to those wearing single vision lenses.
The lenses provide vision correction so the wearer will experience comfortable vision in daily wear. All this whilst working to reduce the progression of their short-sightedness. They are easy to adapt to and are suitable for full time daily wear for a wide range of activities.

How do I get MiYOSMART glasses for my child?
You can simply contact us by phone or book online for an appointment. Our optometrist will carry out a full eye examination and advise you as to the suitability of MiYOSMART treatment for your child. Treatment involves six monthly eye examinations, advice regarding careful selection of frames and specific measurements to ensure that the treatment zone is correctly aligned and working at the optimum level.

Myopia Control Contact Lenses
Crystal Eye Centre is an authorised stockist for Coopervision’s Misight contact lenses, a treatment for children who are developing early signs of myopia, or who have already experienced progressive myopic changes. The lenses correct and slows the progression of short-sightedness in children by 59%, utilising special ActivControl® Technology.*1
The lenses are child friendly, over a three-year clinical study of MiSight 1 day contact lenses in children aged 8-15 years, 90% of the children said they preferred wearing their MiSight® 1 day contact lenses over wearing their spectacles and could handle wearing their lenses on their own. 100% of parents said their children were happy with the experience of wearing contact lenses, including comfort, vision, ease of use and freedom from spectacles.
